The bike kitchen was started to help our homeless community. Every 3rd Thursday a group of volunteers takes bike locks, parts and tools to the riverbottoms to set up our own bike repair shop. It’s a way to not only help our homeless community but build relationships with some amazing people.
To provide a compassionate witness of Christ’s love to the hopeless and homeless of Yuba City by providing bicycles, a meal, personal prayer and repairing bicycles.
Donations of adult bicycles that are repairable may be made by calling HopePoint asking for the Bike Kitchen personnel.
You can meet us at our distribution site! We meet on Second Street in front of Whiteaker Hall. In the event of incliment weather, we will postpone bike distribution.
If you are able to provide donations for the Bike Kitchen, please email us Email us HERE and we will get you connected! You can either drop your donations off at Hope Point Nazarene Church at 600 N. GEORGE WASHINGTON BLVD, Yuba City, CA, or we can come to you!
